Third Great Woods Show?

I was just surfing the scalper sites, seeing what the prices look like this week (they seem to be the only ones making money these days), when I came across a site called TicketsNow.com. They were selling seats for a show at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield for Sunday, August 24. I know these people are less than trustworthy, but could this be true? Will the Boston area be graced with three shows from Bubba this year, like the old days? If anyone knows if this is legit, please post a response. Maybe those of us who were shut out for the Thursday and Saturday shows will have another shot at glory.

They may have meant Chicago as that is also the Tweeter center.

Sorry, but no third show. What you're looking at is a database that ticket brokers can subscribe to. If you go to the "big" broker sites you'll see all the same tickets for sale with prices varying by a few dollars. The difference in the prices is due to the broker who doesn't have the tickets wants to make a mark up from the broker that he has to get the tickets from. What you most likely saw was someone made a typo. Sorry.

The 4Pm show was it was 1998 I still have my stub August 30, 1998 and it was a Sunday. Princess Diane died in 1997 I remember getting home from that show and seeing it on TV, that was also on August 30 but it was a Saturday 8PM show, I have that stub as well.

Was '99 or 2000 the year of the waterslide?

I definitely remember seeing one in '99...
but that's not to say that it didn't make a return in 2000.

Do you mean to topless waterslide

that was in the front lot all they way to the right
That was in 2000, it rained a little early but ended up being a nice day as it went on. The cops put an end to it about 3PM
But we got 4 hours of fun out of it!

I remember that naked waterslide!! What a blast, people (non parrottheads) still don't believe that could take place in the middle of the afternoon!

I remember the slide too. That was certainly a sight to behold. Come to think of it the slide was also there on the Thursday before. I sure do miss the slide...
