I could have sworn the second half started with an accoustic version of Cuban Crime of Passion....or was that just playing during intermission. It was hard to follow with all the transmission drop-outs.
Oh well...maybe I'll have a better listen next time.

Great Show in Woodlands!

What a nite! full moon. strong breeze and almost cool out.
Great new style and flavor to the music. A bit low key at first, but it kicked up. Jimmy looked like he was enjoying our Houston crowd...
We enjoyed JB and the band, dancers etc.
Traditionalist PHs may not like it. But I like Jimmy's new flair and spin on it. Nice new songs added. At times a jazzy style, some latin beat...
How can you not like what Jimmy comes up with...
Loved the Saxaphone encore. Amy sure was hangin onto one huge sax! The horn section had some great action in the show.
Tiki time is over. Tuck in time.
Have to listen to the new album tomorrow.
JB and Reefers, best wishes for the rest of the tour!
And thanks .... again!

FWIW -- he came out from the break playing CCofC. There was video playing on the TVs, but Jimmy was definitely on stage playing and singing.

I'm pretty sure the audio we heard of Cuban Crime is the exact same as the audio on the video featured on RM. His vocals are a lot different in the big venues than they are at his smaller shows.

Don't know what was shown/played on RM, but Jimmy was on stage playing and singing during that song. Thought it was pretty cool since it was another that he dusted off for at least this tour stop.....

D*mmit!!!!!!!! The pinheaded powers that be, thought it was necessary for me to have to work last night. I politely explained that Jimmy was doing a show, but my argument fell on deaf ears. That's okay, though, because I'll be sitting on my patio Thursday and Saturday nights with plenty of ice cold beer and Jimmy crooning in the background.

What time does Jimmy go on, Saturday??????????? And, is there an opening act?

Tickets say 8pm. Unsure about an opening act, but they are having some sort of Hula contest before the show, so they must have some type of music.
