Great question fins26, I've been thinking about planning a trip there next time I go to KW. Any tips and info from someone whos' been would be great. Camping out there also also sounds great, but I don't know if I could talk the wife into that one.

I've been there a few times but never camped. I've anchored out and also stayed inside the Ranger's quarters. Its been a few years but I remember you had to take everything with you, ice, water, food. No 7-11 or anything else. Its a great place to explore especially if you're a history buff.

I was there for a day this past November. They were not allowing overnight camping. It's a 2 hour ferry ride each way and very remote, but a great day trip for the snorkeling. The following link has more info.

Take plenty of bug spray! They can have some serious mosquitoes out there. But otherwise it is a fantastic trip! I've never had the chance (yet!) to go camping there, so I'm jealous. You'll have a great time!
