StormFront Comin'!! & The Downeaster Alexa

Post by SouthernSeas »

Personally, I would like to see Buffett perform some Billy Joel songs for a change. I know it sounds weird, but there are a couple songs that are kind of Buffett related. Stormfront and Downeaster Alexa are two songs of Billy's that I would like to see Buffett perform. Both of these songs kind of lay reference to the sea, boats, and sailing. So lets hear it!!
Sunset Beach is my Margaritaville. Where there is endless beach, no time, and sunshine that seems to last forever. I know that Someday I Will.....Someday.

I've never thought of that. Those are two great songs. The Essential Billy Joel was one of the best CDs I bought last year.

As cool as it would be for JB to cover those songs (I'm a BJ fan, too) I think the new material should take precedence, too. But add 'em to the list of possible covers and you never know what might pop up on the next tour or album. :D

Billy Joel is cool...I love "The Stranger" & "Cold Spring Harbor" albums.
Can't really picture Jimmy singing his songs though...

Jimmy should stick to his own songs!.......New & Original!
