Let me ask a question to all my fellow Parrotheads - Do you agree that you could go to all the shows of the same tour in one summer and enjoy each one just as much because each city is different? It's the city that you're in, the people of that city, and JB's history with that city that makes it special. Next Thursday will be #28 for me since I started in 1991.
Atlanta
Charlotte
Raleigh
Bristow
Cincinnati
West Palm
Tampa
Dallas
Portland
Hollywood (Millenium)

being from northern california, i used to go the shoreline sho only. never gave a thought to going to the southern california shows. then when jimmy started playing vegas, i expanded my horizons. the first pre party at mgm grand, was in an empty lot in back. i guess that is now and was the theme park. but imagine meeting other people from all over the country that you share an an addiction with. since then, i have gone to the irvine shows about 3 times and made san diego for the first time last year. i have thought about going to atlanta and dallas or a florida show, but as much as the airlines cry poor, they do not cooperate on a reasonable plane fare from california to those cities.
just one man's opinion.

Red Rocks was my first JB -- what a great place! But, I have to say, GW, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Vegas (several times, now), the Mitchell Pavilion in Houston (as opposed to the hockey rink -- those were still fun, but terrible venue), Nissan, so on -- whoever said the concert's fun AND the locale is fun, TOO, was entirely correct.

I've been to 5... first 3 were home games (Riverport, St. Louis). Last year I joined the traveling team going to Nashville and Jazz Fest.
This year, hope to make it to Chicago. Hopefully, we'll get another home game next year. Though, I've already stated publically that I will go to at least one road concert as long as JB keeps touring.

Same here 20-30 between '84-'02...
Also hoping to hit 4 venues as well (expect MSG in NYC to get added for the fall/winter leg; need my Vegas plans not to fall through; need some tix to Camden, and a keet-sitter for Baltimore)...
Yikes!!! I hope I make one....
