Thanks for all the great posts. It was nice being at the Houston show and being able to picture Jimmy and the Coral Reefers up there tonight. The stage set was pretty awesome. Lots of bamboo and palms to make it look Tiki. The Tiki Gods were corny but neat looking. As always it was nice to see Wilson. I think Jimmy has found him a friend.

One more thing--at the Houston show, before "Everybody's Talkin," Jimmy pointed out that Jerry Jeff Walker's son, Django, was right up front at the show. On the new cd, he says he recorded that song "Jerry Jeff" taught him in his own style. I half-way expected Django to be up on the stage :)

Another great show. Night!

Just got back from the Atl show, outstanding, what a set list. Jimmy really out did himself.
Now lets talk about those worthless fans in the Atl. that call themselves Parrottheads. They sit on their hands during he show like Jimmy is doing them a favor. Then when I get back to my truck after the show it's been broken into, Why A) because I'm a Bucceaneer fan,B) I'm a Tampa bay parrotthead, C) Because I'm from Fla. D) all of the above. I don't know, maybe it's because I went to a show in a city that is full of unappreciative hillbilly, redneck, loser morons, that are more concerned with uga football
( what a loser program that is), than up holding the respect of Parrottheads.
You LOSERS don't deserve Buffett's gift of music ., Stick with what you know best Neckcar, and the KKK.
Believe me what happened to my vehicle in the parking would never happen to a parrottheads car at a show in Tampa, but believe any person that comes to a show from Atl. I'll make Damn sure It's the worst experience of your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Atlanta Set List

I have two amendments to the posted Atlanta set list:

The Patsy Cline song is "She's Got You" from the Fruitcakes CD.

"Everybody's Talkin'" is also missing from the list.

It was a great show, almost 3 hours, and the rain quit right at show time.
Hope everyone has as much fun on the rest of the tour.

Jim

I'm sorry you feel that way Cosmic Baker. I am from the upstate of S.C. and only 2 hrs. away from ATL. I was there for the Feb. 1 concert, and everybody was nice. Now can you honestly say IT WAS a parrothead that broke into you car, I don't know.Just because it happened in ATL, doesn't mean it was by someone from ATL.

I have vacationed in the Tampa area for many years, and I must say the people are very nice. But when you start talk of revenge, it now looks like your out to get outsiders. :-? :-?

And yes I do know what it's like to have a car broke into, 5 years ago, and it was at a RACE. And had hundreds of $$$ in tools and sterio equ. stolen. But just stop and think how many out of staters there had to be at the concert last night, doesn't mean it was a person from Atl.

No I am not wanting to start something. I just ask for cooler Heads, and words, to Prevail.

Hey Aqua, I had a hard enough time getting my Corona's open, there is no chance I could have broken into a truck.

I was there and loved it! It was the best JB show I have ever attended. (Maybe b/c it was the first time I was on the lawn!) Gypsies was my favorite but I would almost give anything to see a video of Bubba dancing to Natives are Restless. If you weren't there, you missed it! Funny.

HOW BOUT THEM VOLS?!?!?!? LOL. But seriously the lawn section was kickin' the whole show. Out of my whole group I was the only one dancing like a fiend the whole show other than the slow songs. I've been to the past three Atlanta shows and Thursday was by far the best show I've been to yet.

Well.....that diatribe, including (but certainly not limited to) chastising everyone in an entire city because of a supposedly unfavorable experience at a concert parking lot speaks volumes more about you than anyone else in attendance, much less the rest of Atlanta.

Probably wasn't even someone from here. Or did you park some place really stupid?

Every city has its hoodlums and low-lifes. Even Tampa. Some even unzip their flies on public boards.

What a great concert, what a great time, and Jimmy LOVES Atlanta!
