Not really. Unless you can get everyone else sharing the stream, and everyone else using the bandwidth between you and the RM server to get off for ya, you are pretty much out of luck. If RM offered a lower qual stream, that would help. Best bet is to switch to Mono, and then kill any other programs that are using the internet. Even the Mono is possibly a stretch unless your phone lines are good. : (parrothead1979 wrote:man... im sick of my slow @$$ dial-up modem. it has to stop every 5-10 seconds to buffer the feed. im just now starting Gypsies :( im just glad i get to hear it at all :D

i have a question for all you people that record the shows... when you split them, what do you do for the encores? do you just let it play through the silent part or do you just cut it so that it goes from the last song into the encores?
If I had it all to do over again, I'd just get myself drunk and I'd jump right back in...
parrothead1979 - Quick explanation as to why switch to mono. Since they are only sending one channel of audio, in theory they can get away with sending half as much data. So you shouldn't have to rebuffer nearly as often. I think it will just replicate the one channel on both right and left instead of sending the two different channels. Hope that works better for ya.
