Mac and Peter are long time members of The Choral Reefer Band. Check out their bios here: http://www.margaritaville.com/reefers/OysternBeer, who is Mac McAnally and Peter Mayer? I've never heard of them. The reason why I ask is my girlfriend and I just purchased a house one mile away from the State Theater a couple months ago and I've been looking for a reason to check out the theater.
Mac has written a number of songs for Jimmy along with some of his own solo stuff. His show is a great mix of some Jimmy songs, his own great music, and great stories of life on the road with Jimmy and the Reefers.
This will be my first time seeing Peter in concert, and the State Theatre website hints that other band members may show up for this show!http://www.thestatetheatre.com

Thanks for the heads up Big Red PH .....Big Red Parrothead wrote:Mismagic,
I wouldn't trust what it says on the TM website. I had a similar situation when I ordered tickets for the NYC show a couple of years ago. The website kept saying "tickets are being printed", but I never got them. Finally, I called TM to see what the hold up was. Come to find out, my credit card company had my zip code wrong (I had just moved), and since the address I gave TM didn't exactly match up with the address on my credit card account, TM didn't send the tickets.
Fortunately, I was able to get everything straightened out and got the tickets in time. But I never did get any notification about it. Sure, TM can go ahead and charge my credit card and they can spam my e-mail account with all kinds of info about concerts I couldn't care less about. But a simple e-mail to let me know there's a problem? NO!![]()
At any rate, I got my tickets for Merriweather some time ago. Hopefully, you won't have any problems, but don't hesitate to call TM and find out what's up if you don't get your tickets soon.
I've kind of already had that problem with TM, thats why I'm concerned. I had e-mail from them one morning saying that my billing address was different from my mailing address. I thought I was going to have a heart attack
We moved 8 months ago, I paid with my checking card never even thinking that it was still linked to the old address. Seems that just cause we changed our checking out info, it didn't change the info that goes with the card. makes no sence to me at all
Anyway I called them, then called my bank, called TM again, and had to do 3-way with TM and my bank to verify the address change. What a mess, but I THINK it's all cleared up now, or so I was told ...... I will pheel so much better when the tickets are in hand!
Hope to see ya there ......

Just over 5 weeks away now. Is it too early to begin the tailgate party? I think I'll dump out a 50lb sand bag in my office and fire up the blender! See you all at Merriweather. Thank God for radiomargaritaville.com
