Okay guys - myself and my friends are looking for the Merriweather tail gate! I have been following this site and adding here and there and have an idea of some things going on. We aren't going to the party at the Ramada cause you had to pay by saturday.

What's this about the Holiday Inn? A bunch of folks meeting there to hang by the pool then follow each other into Merriweather? Where is the HOliday Inn and can we hook up with you all and hang out? We have a few jersey boys, a canuck, and a vegas chick! Have coolers, will travel!

I'm gonna go through the posting again in case I missed something. It's so confusing after awhile they all run together - going to Nissan also, so I keep

getting the plans between there and Merri mixed up!!

Phew.......just read over the entire postings here again so I can refresh my memory - sooooooooo, it sounds like the Holiday Inn pool is the place to be - at least until we get word that we can get into the parking lot. That sounds like it does not open very early.

My friend said that you should get to the lot early so you can park in the front park, the sandy area, rather than getting stuck in the back. Also said something about other bands playing outside and games and fun stuff happening.

Keep the info coming...........looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hi there, There are going to be many of us hanging at the Holiday Inn before the show. This is my first year there but have heard MANY fun stories. The Holiday Inn is at 7900 Washington Blvd in Columbia Md. here is their phone number in case you want to call for directions, 410-799-7500. As you read there are MANY uncertainties about the lots. I did hear that they open late and are not a phriendly as other places. We have 12 people going, 8 of which are virgins so either way we are just going and hoping for the best of things. Everyone said they are pretty cool if you pour your 'beverages' into plastic cups so I just ordered 12 from the key west store on line. They came on Saturday and are really cool.
That's pretty much all I can tell you. Many of the people that are staying at the Holiday Inn have been there a few times and pretty much know the ropes. A lot of them are also going to Nissan as you can tell on the Nissan thread.

I have NO clue. I have not been around that long
I ordered some from the Margaritaville site to wear to both shows.

How about making a big poster that says Buffett News on it? That way we'll know who's who? I will see you guys at the Holiday Inn with my group. If we hear that the parking lot opens, we might head over there from the Holiday Inn - still gotta get tickets.

I really can't wait - TWO WEEKS AND COUNTING! Even though it sounds like there will be a great pool party at the Holiday Inn, don't forget to check out the Sheraton! I'll be at that pool with veggie burgers on the barbie! (non-carnivore here
