Sounds good on the grilling and all. I'm gonna try to get to the Holiday Inn early, hopefully meet up with some people and then head over with everyone. Man I can't wait, not too far off now! 8)

What if I yell "friutcakes where's my beer?" can I get one? Can you imagine the response you would get if someone yelled that around people other than parrotheads?

Clintster7...good one...I can think of lots of things you could yell at a Buffett party that probably wouldn't fly other places!

Just the context of fruitcakes get me a beer. Where else could some one have the name fruitcakes and people not think twice about it. no offense fruitcakes. ormal people just dont realize that the cosmic bakers took us out ofthe oven a lil to early and thats the reason we're as crazy as we are.

Where to take our tailgate??

Post by EnviroPRTHD »

I know this might have already been discussed, but where's everyone going to tailgate?? I went to the last shows at Merriweather (what was it 2000??) and the police were on foot, horses, golf carts and cars!! It was ridiculous. We parked got out of the car and within a minute a cop was telling us to move inside to the concert. It was only 3p!!! No way I'm buying $10 margaritas for 5hrs.

I've overheard there's a stripmall everyone parties at in the lot there. Does anyone know directions? Gracias!!! Killer rum punch waiting for anyone we meet at Merriweather :P

My days in the Bahamas made me quite fond of Rum Punch...I might have to keep it simple though, Corona's and Tequila...I think that'll do the trick

I think everyone has me a big sketchy on the Merriweather tailgating scene...It'll be my first show at Merriweather, and I haven't heard anything but bad things about the pre-show festivities...

Fruitcakes...

Im not sure what hotel we're at right now, my friend who's goin with made all the reservations for Merriweather, I made them all for Nissan.

What day are you heading to VA? Friday , or Saturday morning...We're not heading down till Saturday, going to the Orioles game and staying in the Inner Harbour Fri night...If you guys are going down Sat, maybe we could form a small caravan of our own  ?

I was just wondering, is the party at the Holiday Inn an open thing, or did you have to register for it? How about that mall across from the parking lot, is it true that they allow tailgating? Sorry for the redundant posts, but I just want to make sure that our group (18 folks, 13 newbies) have as much pre-show fun as possible. thanks.
