Concert merchandise

Post by NashvillePhan »

What kind of stuff could I expect to see for sale at the concert? I'd like something tangible to remember my first Buffett concert.....just looking forward to the concert....I can't wait!

Also don't wait to long to buy. My first time I wanted to wait until after the concert to buy my shirt so I wouldn't have to carry it around with me or take it to the car. By the time I got there all the good stuff was gone!

A lot of times they will run out of things or sizes during or after the concert, the hats are usually $20, t-shirts $ 25 and up sweat shirts you need to take a loan out for...

MErchandise specific for the current tour is always available inside the venue. T-shirts tend to average $25-$40 depending on style, size, etc. Lots of other stuff (hats, sweatshirts, etc) for sale as well. Sometimes they will also have some leftover shirts from previous tours that they will sell at a discount.

The merchandise is expensive but, if it's your first show and you can afford it, I would definitely fork out the big money and get a thing or two. That way, when you play his concerts through radiomargaritaville the rest of the year, you can don your apparel and re-live your first show. Just FYI, I have my computer connected to my outdoor stereo system and I sit out on my patio and take in every show live through Jimmy's website. And, of course, I wear my favorite Jimmy Buffett atttire.
Today is the tomorrow you spent yesterday worrying about. Was it worth it?

I agree, buy your stuff first. My first concert, I had a few too many Margaritias ( don't know how that can be possible ). Long story short, I failed to purchase anything and now I'm sorry.

Or not quite enough...

Anyway, yeah, if it's your first show you should at least fork out the dough for a t-shirt. Unless I see a design that I just think is really cool I try to buy something every other year or so. ( like that ever works out. )
