Corona's Denver Party

Post by jay »

Any PHeads going to Brooklyn's for Corona's party? Corona rented out the place for two hours before the show. FREE food and FREE Corona. It was a tough ticket!!! Hope to see some of of you there.

The weather report is saying snow!

Hey Jay, where is Brooklyn's? I'm not real familiar with Denver. Is that the bar across the street from Pepsi?

The Hoot on College and Drake. We have live trivia every Tuesday night at 7. This Tuesday's theme is Jimmy Buffett. I wish there were more ParrotHeads up here! I've been knocking around a ParrotHead night idea for a few months but I don't know if people would like it.

Jay,
It sounds like a great event. Is there anyway to get tickets, or do you have to "know" someone. If you have any suggestions on how to get any, both legal and maybe not so legal  (legal preferred), please let us know.

Thanks!!

I really don't know any other details. I would guess knowing someone in the Corona family is the only way to get some. You could always use the old school plan of getting the VIP passes from people who are walking out. :)

Jay,

You might be surprised how many PH's are up this way! and They may come out of the woodwork if you have a Buffett night!

Just yesterday I was driving by the golf course so I just had to stop and play nine holes inbetween meetings! Well then I finished and was hungry so I went into the brand new clubhouse at Collindale and Floridays was playing and everybody had hawaiian shirts on, course I asked what was going on and sure enough they where having a Buffett party last night!

Anyway, it made my day that the golf course now has a parrothead bar, like I needed another reason to hang out at the golf course!

Hey Freddy,
What golf couse are you speaking of? I am down here in S. Denver, but would be more than willing to drive to get to a golf course that had a parrothead bar. I am always looking for a good 19th hole!

It is the a city course called Collindale on Horsetooth and lemay. It is a nice course, pretty long, fast greens and not many houses. They just built this clubhouse and it is really nice. They contracted with Brauns Bar and Grill for the resturaunt. They JUST opened and they are already havin Parrothead parties.

Come on up and we can maybe play a round and drink a round!

Cool. Tuesday night at 7pm I am rolling out a Jimmy themed trivia night and playing a lot of his tunes. Corona came through with an awesome cerveza cooler. It's all metal with a bottle opener built into it. Probably holds about 12 bottles. That will be the grand prize. They also gave Corona mardi gras beads and t-shirts. Perfect concert gear. Try to come by!

I also have one ticket left at face value if anybody you know needs one.

Jay- I will try and stop by on Tuesday!!

Pencil Thin- i bet we can easily get a foursome of PH's together, let me know! Any body else?

Also Steve from the Brauns Bar and Grill in Fort Collins said they are having a big Parrothead Party ( at the Brauns in Denver) before the show, they are right across from the Pepsi center! Should be plenty to do in Denver before the show!

Don't you just love the pheeling of PH's being everywhere!
