Hello Phans....

OK, instead of dealing with outhouses at the shows...I finally did it.

I bought my own 2004 40' bus type motorhome, and will be christening the "Land Lahaina" (as opposed to my boat "Lahaina") at the San Diego show and then off to the Irvine show.

All BNer's, instead of the lil white convertible with PIRET40 California plates, please look for the "brown bus" with PIRET40 plates (I will be illegally placing the plates on the bus for the shows).

Stop by for a cocktail or beer!

Not able to make it until 4:00 but I'll keep an eye out for the Land Lahaina. Hope to see you there!

Is it Tuesday yet?

Don't forget to stop at the shack with the sign on it in Barstow! One more reason for a good road trip to Vegas. We actually might have some of that world famous chili at Coors!

Favorable winds to all heading for Sin City! Alas, like you DM, I had a wild hair and will make the trek to Vegas manana! Look for a Blue Dodge Intrepid with some type of nonsense written on it piloted by two crazy parrotheads! From Vegas, I will head to my humble abode to reload and head on down south to the big SD! Wednesday I will head back up to Central Cali, re-reload and head north to Shoreline. Then.....you guessed it..... it's back down south to re-re-reload and cruise on down to Irvine! 8) :D

Feeling a little guilty

Post by Fruitcake4U »

I am only going to the Irvine show. Number 6 for me, I believe.(# 4 was a little blurry, rainy Memorial day weekend and all) I can't wait! Seven days and counting every minute. Look for the hat with a 12 inch parrot, 8 inch wing span, 7 palm trees, umbrellas, battery operated lights and fringe. Say hi, and ask me for a jello shooter!

First time at SD Buffett

Post by vichead »

Hey all, just joined the group. Big time Buffett fan but have always gone to Irivine. I live in SD and finally convinced all of my Parrothead friends from OC to come down here this year.

I notice that the Coor Amphitheatre site says they have an "open container" law. How has this affected Margaritaville in the past?

Also, how early can you get there?

Thanks!!! I'll look for ya! :pirate:

Regarding the open container law that vichead asked about, I wouldn't worry... We used one of the "no open container" signs last year to hold up one end of our bar!
