Mayor, from my view from 4 rows behind you, all I can say is... some tall people can't dance (to twist a Fingers Tayor song). That must of been hoooooooooooooooooooorible!

Wow... Such unexpected news! So glad I made the Tuesday trip to SD (even though I was seriously hurting on Wednesday! 8) )

Car's still filled with tropical inflatables, including Bruce, my giant shark. Figured it would be pointless to unpack everything before Saturday. Oh well... Perhaps we'll start a lawn party... or tailgate in somebody's driveway and then watch Jimmy on t.v... I'm sure the neighbors would appreciate us creating a beach in the street!

Sending blessings to Jimmy's family...

Well, I guess I'll share my little sad tale...although it pales in comparison to what Jimmy and his family are experiencing. Myself and four of my friends were about two hours into our trek when my cellphone rings. I answer it and find it is BEG calling. I am excited to hear her voice, as I am anticipating news about the great phlocking we are about to engage in with all our fellow PH's. Alas, she is calling with this troublesome news of Jimmys' mothers illness. And although we are all saddened, there is not one person I know who wouldn't be at his or her mothers side at a time like this. :(
We were able to cancel our hotel reservations without any charges, and turned right around for home. I would have liked to continued on to the Sport's Page, but we decided to create our own Margaritaville at my house with a BBQ! We were able to get our refunds from Ticket^$%^# without any trouble, so it was all good. Suffice it to say, the beverages we intended for Shoreline were put to very good use, so we all feel a little bit better! 8) Thanks again BEG for the timely call, and I guess we'll just have to wait for our Buffett fix next year! 8)
