Ohh, I love it when you talk that way to me :D I recieved your PM, not sure I understand it all ( BB codes? ) but I'll give it a try. I thought building these doors and putting them on would take about 2 hours, but I guess in true island time it might be 2 days

MMMMMMMM coconut willie...
2 oz gin yes i said gin ( trust the mixologist will ya)
now the tricky part go to to yer local booze store and look for coca lopez coconut cream..and take milk, half and half,or a heavier cream that u can find at the store and mix a can of coco lopez with about about the same amount of half and half( thats what i use) stir it up it may be a bit chunky in parts but thats ok u did good.
now take that concoction and add that to the gin about 4 oz
1 1/2 oz mojito mix :o i can here don salivating right now
put in shaker can ( preferabley with crushed ice but hey if u got a blender it will do the trick
serve in a high ball glass with a cheryy and orange
u are not going to belive how friigin good it is
lets put it this way out of all the tropical drinks in hawaii
judged throughout all the islands..guess witch one won the grand prize

don i dont know where u can buy it???u have to make it..take one part water to one part sugar to make the simple syrup..then heat it up and put it in something that u can pour out of..hmm like a quart jug or something
i premix my mojito mix but u dont have to if u dont wanna...but u have to get or fresh squeeze yer own lime juice..take a bit of work but the end result is well worth it trust me..and dont worry about the pulp it helps with the consistancey of the drink..i use about 12 oz of simple syrup to 20 oz of resh lime juice make it sweet but not so sweet it makes u go wooo!!!thkeep that ina gallon jug or something so its easy to pour out :pirate:

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm... These concoctions sound yummy!

I'm hoping Jimmy comes to Chula Vista on a Saturday again... It's a beautiful day whenever he comes to town!!! I'm getting restless for the date announcement though... I'm hoping he hits Chula Vista on the 4th or the 11th, then does Irvine the following weekend. :wench:

A Mojito shortcut:

Image

I was at the liquor store and the "Mojito girl" was giving out samples of Marti Autentico - which is a Cuban-style rum flavored with natural mint and lime. I know - you are thinking Capt's Morgan's and Wrigley Spearmint! But it's not bad. . well, I think it's not bad! She was mixing it with orange and pinapple juice, ice tea, 7up, coke, cranberry juice. . I just kept trying them all and by the time I left - I thought it was the best thing I ever tasted!! :D

My two favorites:

Cosmojito (Marti Autentico Cuban style rum, fresh mint and lime juice and cranberry juice.)

Jealous b**** (Marti Autentico Cuban style rum, melon liquor, orange and pineapple juice)

Morning folks - hey Tonya, let me know when you're heading to Vegas and we can definitely meet for cocktails. We have about 25 Tampa Bay parrrot heads coming to town the second week of June and a few of us are going to meet them at Tommy Rocker's. Should be fun.

PP - stayed in town this weekend. No beach for me. :( Oh well, soon enough. Maybe go see Hootie tonight. Hope you get those doors finished some time this weekend, but remember, don't work on them after mojito number two or hurricane number five, cause they might look a little funny in the morning! I have a picture or to to send ya - which email would ya like them at?
