On Margaritaville.com, someone posted that Jimmy Buffett is playing in Carson on September 28. I think it's in California, but is that north or south?

Hi Spooner, How's it goin'. Did the wine festival this weekend. There were over a 100,00 people in two days. Pour more beer than I have ever seen. Lots of talent everywhere :D I sponsored the booth so I was there 12 hours each day it was around 100 degrees on Sunday, I'm worn out today. I'm going to try a make the willies this weekend if I have time.

FinsupIdaho - shoulda called me - I would have shown you around Vegas and made sure that you were not just another lost soul! Yes, the summer 100+ degrees are here! Isn't that lovely - Jimmy, although it was 114, I bet that you didn't sweat! Ha - cause you know, "it's a dry heat!" :o Oh my God - I hate it when people say that - 114 is freakin hot whether it a dry heat or a wet heat - give me a break! Hmmm...........last wednesday, I think that was the first day of the summer to break 100 degrees - you musta brought it with you!

PP - guess the tiki bar was closed this weekend - it was the beer tent weekend instead! I bet yoiu had a blast, especially the soaking in the scenery part!

Hey - when are any of you heading to Vegas again? You're not waiting until January are ya? There's all kinds of fun things to do year round, especially during the nice, hot summer!

I had a friend in Miami (no, not a cousin, although I probably have one of those too) last week and she went to Larios (sp?) it's the "supper club" owned by Gloria Estephan, and they supposedly have THE BEST mojitos there! (pirate  )

Good Mourning all, just had a few minutes to say Hi before I'm back out again. It's been one hell of a week. Looking forward to opening up the TIKI Bar this weekend and relaxing a little. I just found out my work travel plans for July and I'll be gone for four out of five weekends. Two trips to the east coast in three weeks, my neighbors are gonna miss the Tiki bar for a third of the summer. I might be thrown out of my condo once they hear my schedule. Can't wait for the fall schedule for concerts. I'm going to need a Buffett week by then, but then we all could use a Buffett week any time :D

Why don't ya just let Cowboy take care of the tiki bar for ya while you're gone? Or leave it open for theneighbors - I'm sure they would love ya for it - and might even replenish it for ya!

So, none of you all are going to Migration??????

Hey pirate - do you know, are the Shoreline tickets like normal price ticket venues such as Irvine, or are they ridiculous priced tickets like Vegas? Also, best seating areas? Try to get good seats or go for the lawn? Do they have a lawn section? I don't know anything about that place - feel free to share what you know about it! :D :D :pirate:

Carson is in Ca. near Torrance, Hawthorne. about 15 miles south of downtown L.A. but there is no venue big enough to hold JB in Carson or the surrounding area.

Hey HoneyDo, I have never tailgated at the Shoreline. Different people I talked to said it was pretty lame. There is a sports bar with in walking distant of the venue that always has a pre-party. That is where I went last year and had a good time but that was only three weeks after my surgery and I was medicated. A couple people said they had a good time in the parking lot but not too many. If there is anybody out there more versed in this subject than I please inform us as to tailgating at the Shoreline. And yes, it is an outside venue. It is actually a really good venue. The ticket prices are about normal, not Vegas prices. By the way, How you doin'
