Hey fellow parrotheads, I'm new to this board. I have checked it out a few times but have never written anything. The reason I am writting something is I was lookin at Rollingstone's website and they have a poll to find the top 100 live performers and they have a list of about 100 perfomers to choose from and Buffett and the Coral Reefers ARENT ONE OF THE CHOICES!..... they give a spot to write in a choice so I erge all of you to vote to Jimmy as many times as possible and get him as high up on that list as possible which is where he deserves to be. I appoligize in advance if someone has already opened a message about this topic. Here is the link to go vote... http://www.rollingstone.com/survey/dynamic/default.asp .

I've never even heard of half the bands on that list! That list should be called the Greatest Live Act Other Than Jimmy Buffett
Is this lack of respect toward Jimmy, I don't know...maybe its because he has written articles for Rolling Stone and is ineligible. Didn't he write about the Pope visiting Cuba a few years back??
My list of Greatest Concerts would go something like this:
1 (TIE) Grateful Dead 7-29-94
1 (TIE) Every Jimmy Buffett concert, especially 9-29-01
2 Steely Dan 6-00
3 Phil & Friends 7-00
