We got there about 2:00 last year, and the lot was already packed. Don't know the definitive answer however.

We usually get to the lot about 12:00. Then we just sit on the side of the road and party until they let us in. In the past three years they have usually let us in by1:30 because there are so many people on the side of the road, that the police come, and tell the lot people to just let us in....

Hey Tiki Bar,
Are you the same lady that was at Alpine last year and won the costume contest?

iuparrothead, i agree with jkortum. we got there just after 1 last year and they opened the gate about the time we came to a stop and thought about turning around to hang out with some of the people we passed on the side of the road. why can't they just open at 9 or 10 in the morning so we don't have to worry about getting there too early??
one question, being that our group is trying to be economically sound in at least one aspect of this weekend (alcohol) does anybody have any recommendations on where we could reserve a keg...maybe 2? and we're happy drunks, not the try and fight after drinking kinda drunks so no worries there! 8)

Excellent! I think we are going to head out of Chicago around 9am...I don't know exactly how long it will take us to get there, but I'm assuming about 2-2.5 hours or so!? We'll be sitting on the side of the road with you then!

Maybe we will be able to coordinate parking spots then CRC!?

I think all wisconsin bars can also sell liquor off sale. So I would just try a bar close to where you are staying....

Wow Tiki Bar, I'm impressed. What's this year's costume gonna look like?

Similar... same sign and torches, with a new and improved bar.

There's a great Buffet tribute band (Mr.Meyers) playing all this weekend in the sunshine at Blarney Island.
Here's the link for more info, it's a great party , lots of Parrotheads and women in skimpy swim wear..gotta love it!

We'll have 3 RVs with a red flag pole with a Corona flag, Conch Republic flag, pirate flag and a parrot sitting on top along with a tiki bar if anyone wants to stop by for a seemingly endless supply of alcohol
Is it day?
