I'm just curious if the donations help cover the cost of the portajohn or if you guys do it just to make a profit. I came across a portajohn last year that was charging $1 per or $5 for the day and it didn't look like anyone in that group was having much fun. They were more concerned with making money.

I hope the goal here is to have fun.

I certainly don't know them well or have ever even met them for that matter, but I dare say they just use it to pay for what the portojohn costs...I think they are out there to have a good time and money's not much of a concern...At least that's my impression...

Moon - that was our group!!!! Money is NOT the concern at all!!!! The first year we didn't have any trouble; last year the cops almost shut us down... you might have stopped by just when all the trouble was brewing because it wasn't a pretty sight for awhile when the cops were there... they made us take our signs down, saying we were "promoting" nudity... so we took them down and just asked for donations... the cops said that was fine... trust me, the guys run the portajohn and they would much rather see a flash than take anybody's $1... and hey, the girls made out on this too... we had a couple guys flash!

We try to cover the cost of the portajohn... if we don't, we don't... having a good time is way more important... we've still provided a service that Nissan just doesn't get it needs more of!!!!

Yep, I must have stopped by right when the trouble was brewing. Hopefully that won't happen again. Some of the cops in our area weren't being very nice that year. I had some other friends that ran into trouble after the concert. Hmm.

Oh well. This year will be different. It always is and usually for the better!!

trust me when i say - the guys would much rather have the girls flash than hand over money

it was funny - when the cop was telling my hubby that we were "promoting nudity"... my drunk butt comes up (not at the pleasure of my hubby) and says "promoting nudity? what do you call all those people going to the hill to pee!!!!! what do you think nissan is doing!!!!"... hubby just looked at me and said "i think you better go"... lololol

we think he was being a jerk because he had a female officer with him... two guy cops would have come up and laughed with us, just like in the year prior...

Girls (especially female cops) can be so silly some times (and yes I am a girl but I'm not your average girl, I build Tiki Bars). It's just fun and games. You won't see me flashing which may disappoint some given my size (Heehee!!) but I don't have a problem with other woman flashing.

And yes, I've seen the cops at Nissan and other shows diving in and having a great time.

It's that same old thing of not doing anything to draw too much attention to yourself and what you are doing. Asking people to flash may get some attention. I know it certainly would get mine.

well, what got their attention was one girl in particular who decided that one little flash wasn't enough for her... and she decided to stand on the truck and decide to dance with her top up... we couldn't get her down fast enough there's usually enough people all around that a simple flash does not draw attention ... well, much anyway

I really can't wait to get there...I'm taking a Buffett fan to her first concert, and a bit worried. We're going to Merriweather first, which I hear sucks for tailgating. Very, very strict cops about all alcohol and bottles, etc...I was at Nissan the past 2 years and I know the tailgating there usually is great...Plus this year I'll be in the large group which keeps on gettin bigger And if all goes well, i just might even get a peek at some flashers Gonna be one hell of a 4th of July weekend!!

It's hard to believe but I think this party is going to better than the last one at Nissan.

Darn I see I miss a lot today! Reading back over this I have to agree with you all. This is gonna be 1 hell of a 4th of July.
BC- I know the feeling I am brining 10 people (8 of which have never been) and they picked of all shows Merriweather. We tried to talk them into going to Nissan but oh well now it will be just hubby and I and ALL of our new phriends at Nissan.
I know we will have fun at both shows but it sure sounds like Nissan is gonna be the place to be....
