Honey Do,
Turning off the air conditioning? The heat in my house is on and it's going to snow tonight! Only a couple of inches but just enough to make the roads an streets icy.
Wish I could be there!
Counting down the days until MoTM!

I certainly can't wait to see everyone there. Although Hurricane Isabel may have something to say about that. My wife and I truly are tryin' to reason with hurricane season. She's supposed to be coming through this area at about the same time we're supposed to be flying out on Friday. Wish us luck!

ph4life wrote:What are the odds of getting a camera taken after you click off a picture? I was thinking of sneeking my digital camera in, and sneeking a pic won't be tough. But I don't know if it is worth losing a 200 dollar camera.
Two shows ago in Vegas, I took my digital camera in and took a couple pictures. I did get caught. Make sure to turn the flash off. I think the pics will turn out better anyway. If you get caught, an usher takes you out, then has you check your camera in a room. Then you go watch the rest of the show and pick up your camera afterwards. No big deal.
I also wanted to post that I will be there again this time. Looking forward to seeing you guys again. Should be a group of 8 Utah Parrotheads, 4 of whom this will be their first show. We plan on the usual party at the pool of the Key Largo (where we are staying), then Tommy Rockers, The MGM, and Ricardo's after the show.
Too bad for you Spooner. I wish you could make it. I will see the rest of you Friday.
BTW.... We will be staying in Mesquite on Thursday night.

I will be there one way or another! I probably can't make the party at Tommy's this year since my 10 year old daughter is coming along but I will be at the MGM and at the show.
Counting down the days until I can get into a state where adulthood is legal!
See you at the show.
PS. If you turn off the flash on your camera you won't get caught.

there are 3 motel 6's in the area. one across from mgm, one on an industrial road paralell to the freeway and near tropicana and one on or near boulder hiway. check travelocity, expedia and orbitz. pickings are slim now because there is a lot of activity in vegas this weekend besides jimmy's show.
honey do what section are your tix located?

I'll be in Shoreline! I'll be over my "wish I could have done Vegas again" pouting that I have been doing for the past two months. Had so much fun in April. I'll be bringing my beachballs to Shoreline though.
Have fun in Vegas all! We'll be thinking of you!

Livingston Bob - I'm sorry, but you'll get no sympathy from me about the heater and the A/C. You CHOOSE to live where you do - silly boy!
Big Red and others affected by Isabel - I hope you all are not delayed too much and don't get any damage. I'll keep my fingers crossed that she either dies offshore or turns another direction! Can't wait to see you and Robbyn Big Red!
Mason - I belive the tix are in U-104 or 204 -whichever is NOT the top section, just above the floor. I might have a taker on them (emphasis on the might) will know for sure by this evening. I will check the the exact location when I get home tonight and pm you. Also, they are the $100 seats just so you know. Let me know what you think.
Key Largo - just so you guys know, the "official" pool party at the Key Largo is on saturday morning. Howver, I know quite a few parrot heads will be there early and so will start partying at the pool on friday. I'm sure friday's entertainment will be just as good as saturdays!
Masons motel 6 info - stay away from the one on Boulder Highway. I can't picture the one across from MGM, the one on Tropicana I think is newer (not positive). If you can, try the La Quinta on paradise.
I'll be making a buffettnews poster so everyone can find each other - if you want to.
