your right...this harder then i thought...........can anyone help out here? why do i have an x instead of a picture??? and it is less then 140x140...

I think my picture is still too big, not sure how to make it smaller. Guess I'm doomed to have no avatar. :(

It has to be hosted on a website somewhere.

You can load it to the Photo Gallery here, then use the thumbnail size.

Or you can sign up at Photobucket (it's free and easy to use). :)

HELP! I can't get my avatar pic to show

I uploaded my avatar pic to the user gallery but now I can't paste it into my profile. It says "The URL of the remote avatar is not valid". Can someone help me out please.

I've pasted in:

but when I "submit" I get the above mentioned error! :(
