Suggestions on what to bring for Camden Lawn seats & whe

Post by tsenator »

Hey Parrotheads. :pirate:

I am a long time JB listener and I've been trying to get tickets for years, but there are few concerts these days around New York and way too many people that want to go. So I finally broke down and bought some "scalped" tickets, for my girlfreinds Birthday :wench: . She's been wanting to go forever.

I've got Lawn Seats at the Camden center, any suggestion on when to get in to get good seats, what should/can I bring ? Willthey let me bring "anything" in...i.e blanket? Chairs allowed? with they search everything. Does it matter where I sit or are all the seats decent?

What do people bring if it rains (My sailboat won't fit through the gate). :o

When do people get to the tailgating and start having fun? :D

just looking for a little advise for my first time...

Be gentle with me I'm a virgin....

Camden is not a bad place to tailgate.

If you go int he main parking lot it will cost you $8-10.

Bring shade becuase it is all cement.

They let us in at about 3pm.

Alot of peole do park around the area and there are parties all over the place.

Check to see what time the gates open (6pm?) and get there for about an half hour after tey open if you want good lawn seats.

Get good and hammered in the parking lot. Then when you get in buy a couple of beers to last you a little while.

The costs per car will about $20 this year, and the lots are scheduled to open at 11 am, not 3 pm.

It is a great time, so plan on getting there early!!

The main lot is not all cement either...I assume you mean black top, but you're thinking of the Camden Fields lot next to the Ben Franklin Bridge. The main lots out front of the Tweeter center are dirt...just FYI. Also, no umbrellas in the concert because you might obstruct views...
