Perfect Margaritas...

Post by rednekkPH »

We're going to Merriweather, and it looks like we're gonna have to be in stealth mode as far as booze goes. We are planning on pre-mixing our margaritas as per JB's recipe, and putting them into 2-Liter soda bottles. Has anyone done this? Just want to make sure that mixing them ahead of time won't diminish the quality. Thanks in advance.

I like to use Gator Ade bottles with no ice in the bottle.

The smaller the pitcher, the better they will turn out. If you use gatoraide bottles, each person could have 1 for themselves...

Works fine! We fill up soda bottles every year. Just include plenty of ice & it stays cold for hours.

I used a 2 Liter bottle last night at the concert in Indianapolis and it worked fine for me. I wish I could rewind time to see it all over again. Guess I'll hafta wait another year.. :pirate:

Use gatorade bottles and freeze them the night before, and they stay cool all day :P Plus, they look just like "gatorade officer"...
