Hey Rednekkph- you had some questions about the Holiday Inn. I really have no clue if it is an open party or not. I have never been there and I did not register for a party. If it is a register guest only party we move the party to the parking lot. Like I said before where there is a will there is a Parrothead!
I plan on meeting Mis Magic and Nautical along with anyone else that will be there sometime around 11ish. If we can not all go into the pool area we will just meet else where. No worries
I was planning to head to the Holiday Inn also...Are you supposed to have registered to get into it? I'd like to meet up with a bunch of other prtheads, but I didn't register for the party

I just called Merriweather Post and talked to the people there. I asked if tailgating is allowed and she said it is....but it's a "very sobering tailgate". That's what she said. No alcohol or fire allowed. Those were her only 2 rules. I guess even if you have drinks in a cup, that doesn't fly either.
I then asked about Columbia mall and she said that's where everyone goes. No rules over there that she knew of. So might as well head there I guess. Where's the Holiday Inn from there??

Thanks for the detective work. Looks like the mall it is. Anyone know how far is that from the Holiday Inn?. We are staying at a Motel 6 in Laurel - looks to be about 20 minutes from Merriweather. Maybe we will meet up somewhere - you can't miss me, I'll be the guy in the Hawaiian shirt <BSEG>.

I really wish I knew the area. I am thinking of starting off at the Holiday Inn (simply because that is where my room is) then sounds like the party will move to the mall parking lot (only wish I knew where the mall was ) So, if anyone wants to hook up in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn and then caravan over to the Mall parking lot just let me know. It would be nice to have a big group of us together in the lot.
Caravan to the mall sounds good. If I remember correctly the mall is just before the turn into the Merrriweather parking area. The nice people at the Holiday Inn directed me to Merriweather the last time I was there so I'm sure we'll find the mall.

Hey sure come on over. Just look for the Blue Explorer in the Holiday Inn parking lot with the FRUTCKS tags. We will work out a time this week to start our caravan and just plan on meeting by my truck then. We will squeeze you guys in somewhere and if not I have a roof rack we can just put you up there.

What time do you think would be good to head over to the mall lots? We can set a time and just plan the caravan around then.

Not yet but as soon as I hear something I will let you all know!
Once we find out times we will make plans to meet in the Holiday Inn lot and then head over to the Mall parking lots.
