Preparing For a Week of Buffett and a Question...

Just got off the phone with my brother who informed me that he scored tickets to Jimmy at Nissan...that completes the Buffett sweep for me:

Camden on Tuesday
Merriweather on Thurday
Nissan on Saturday

I have always wanted to follow Jimmy for the entire week and the time has come...any advice from those of you who have already done it?

Also how is the tailgating at Nissan, anything like Camden, or are they strict? When do the gates open? & if it is not great where are the pre-parties at?

i have done the 3 in a week tour before on the west coast. vegas.....shoreline.....and irvine. i thinks it's a lot of phun. gives you something to look forward to and anticipate the good times.
also did .....shoreline....san diego.....and irvine last year. a nice break in the usual work week.

I have been to Camden and Nissan.

I have heard that Merriweater is a nightmare.

Camden opens early and the party is great. No problems with cops, booze or grills.

Nissan was better.

They tell you that the gates open at 3pm. If you arrive early they puut you in a holdoinh lot about 500 yards away.

Over loud swpeakers they tell you that the lot and you can go in. They open anywhere from an hour or less before the stated time.

No problems with cops, booze-NO Bottles,and grills. Be smaert and they won't hassle you.

Takes a while to get out so plan to hang aroud afterwards. Bring extra food and booze.
