Alpine Review

This was my fourth time at Alpine, and it felt like there were ALOT more people in the lot this year... Especially by the buses.. Anyone else seem to think so... Had a great time, again...

P.S. When are the apline people going to learn and just let us in at noon....

I haven't put my $0.02 about 2003 Alpine yet, so here goes...

It was AWESOME!!!!! What a beautiful day, fun people and a great show! I was pretty well behaved this year so I remember everything this time...except the little spill I took that left a big bruise on my arm...but anyway, I loved the changes in the set list! We had some really fun people near us on the lawn, but they disappeared after the intermission.

I can't believe all the people that were still going strong after the show in the parking lot! I didn't wander around much during the day, so I'm disappointed that I didn't get to see some of the crazy stuff you all have reported here. I didn't have to deal with any obscenities, barfing, etc. I remembered the long lines for the bathroom from 2 years ago, so I just held it all night long...what a relief afterwards though! Whew!

I didn't need to drink anymore by the time I got in the venue, so I didn't care about beer prices. I would put this show on the top of the list as one of my favorite Buffett shows ever! Thanks to all the BN people (you know who you are) who were there and made it an absolute blast!!! Next year we are bringing everyone we know and their mothers so watch out!!!

Some people just just find it easier to walk around topless all day.
In case any one is wondering, I'm on the left and part of our tiki bar can be seen and apparently, the guy on the right is Santa, enjoying his Summer.

Hey 7lords... Lost one of our disposable cameras on the way home. Are you going to be posting pic's on your site soon.. Friends want to see all the action....

We tried to get tickets for tonight's show in Madison also- No luck.....
I'm really needing a Jimmy fix right now too- We were gonna wear our lime green t-shirts- see page four of this post- the family of four in lime green- yep that's us......

My guess is that the Alpine show will be mid to the end of August. He usually rotates the shows at the beginning and end of summer with the Tinley shows. Can't wait here either!!!!!

I just talked with my mom and she's about 6th in line waiting for the doors to open. She says it's freezing out there, but there are still some phans with shorts and t-shirts on!!!

It's great seeing a few fresh Wisconsin parrotheads on the board! welcome....let me know if you would be interested in a concert coach bus to Alpine, all-inclusive...I posted it a few days ago, will keep everyone updated.

Tiki-- I told my mom that since she didn't let me go in her stead...that she would have to try like the Dickens to get me an autograph. Or something.

It looks like I'm going to try and make it there. But I'm going to head home first for some warmer clothes!
