Alpine Show Ready

Post by 7lords »

I finally have the Alpine 2003 ready and available for B&P. The only problem was my RM feed cut out for about 8 seconds at the beginning of "It's My Job" I have also included the pre-show interview with Jimmy as track #1 on the first CD.

For anyone who wants it you can send 2 80 minute blanks and $1 to cover postage (or a padded self-addressed stamped envelope) to:

Wade Rewey
1904 W Main St
Stoughton, WI 53589

If you don't want to do B&P PM me and we can work something out. If you PM'd or emailed me before - do it again - I didn't really save any of them. I also have great copies of Alpine 99, 00, 01 and 02 if you want those as well.

One other thing - send regular CDs - not audio CDs. They are basically the same thing but the audio ones cost more and they usually only burn at 16x on my computer. If you already sent out audio CDs - don't worry, they'll work fine, it will just take a little longer.

What you need is burning software and some blanks (CD-Rs). You probably got some when you bought your computer or burner. Companies usually give you adaptec or nero burning rom for PCs, and toast for macs. I use Nero, but that's because I'm a bonehead and it's simple. Most programs do the hard work for you because they have intro wizards that help you. If you don't have software, there are plenty of programs at download.com you can try. good luck!

Again, a great big THANK YOU to 7lords, for capturing and sharing a great night!

It's so much fun to listen and remember what you were doing at the concert as you listen to the recording. I just listen and smile and sigh and laugh and smile some more. :D :D :D

And the icing on the cake is repeatedly hearing everything Jimmy says about Alpine and the crowd... he likes us! He really really likes us! 8) :D

Thanks so much for the discs. I am leaving tomorrow for a 9 1/2 hour drive up to Canada to go fishing with the Keet and Grandpa.
This will be a welcome addition to the Captain and Cokes in the boat while we are trying to capture that elusive Walleye.

Thanks again and Finz up,

Just wondering..... I bought the Alpine show off of e-bay (before seeing this thread) and noticed that some of the talking between songs is missing. That is one of the things I love about the shows! Im just wondering if that was edited out to make room on the CD. The last couple shows I bought had one 90min CD and and 80min. I havent been able to find a 90min one yet. Is the whole show fitting on those 2 80min CD's? If it is Im typing the guy who did mine a nasty gram. He even cut out the part where Jimmy declares Alpine to be the best tailgating spot.
