Saw this in thread under "events":

Chicago Parrot Heads, don't be left out of the fun! The Boat Drunks have announced a last minute show this Saturday at the Key Wester in Naperville. The Boat Drunks are fresh off of shows at Alpine Valley and the POTP in Put-In-Bay. They also have a brand new CD out that has been receiving air-time on Radio Margaritaville. Showtime is 9pm.

Thanks for those links Tiki Bar!!
When I was checking them out...I noticed Tom Carey is playing Fri Aug 22 at Tinley Park Convention Center in Tinley Park. Does anyone know if that convention center is the one at the Holiday Inn in Tinley Park? If so, that is going to be awesome since that's where we're staying for the Sat. night show! Will be an excellent warm-up for Saturday night...good excuse for some of us BN'ers to meet up for a few drinks?

You're welcome gumbo gal! And thank you too! I don't have JB tickets yet, but I'm gonna see if any rooms are available. Seems like the makings of a great weekend!

by the way, i see you're from Fondy... i was a huge fan of the other JB - jonathon brandmeier. never been there, but it sounded like the brandmeier's knew everybody in town, and everybody in town knew them. is this true? is hanky and aunt marsha still kicking up there? just curious.

Big surprise - they're all booked! Looks like I'm bunking with you gumbogal! The couch or floor will be fine!

Just in case, I'll ask Tom Carey tonight if he can hook me up! I'm a quick learner - maybe I can help out with the lights or sound or something, then I can be at the VIP parties for the concerts too! Ya, I'm sure he doesn't hear the same offers day in and day out! :D
