Construction is worse then the worst mother in law nagging. Will probably take you at least an hour from around 35th street on the Dan Ryan, that is if you go during NON RUSH HOUR. So my advice to you is---get down there super early---meet up with me for a few drinks and all wil be fine.

There are other navigational options though. We got out to Tweeter in 1 hour from my place, downtown for the Dave Matthews show on July 3rd at 5:30pm. Got to the venue at 6:30pm and into the lawn by 7:00pm...ready to watch the show. Needless to say, we might want to get a little earlier start for Buffett though.

Oh my gosh! Ticketmaster is SO thoughtful! They just emailed me a "reminder" about the Jimmy Buffett tickets I purchased! I had nearly forgotten about that show coming up in 2 weeks, 1 day, and 7 1/2 hours!

Phins I got the same message. Just I case I forgot the show was coming up! Now if they will just e-mail me to remember to take the tickets with me and not to lose AB's phone number this time I will be in better shape.

By the way AB I probably need that number once more. I'm not going looking for Texas flags in the parking lot again!

yes, well, I had just stolen a palm tree, and simply could not handle the confusion that that involved to realize that I had accidentally taken a towl...It was an honest mistake!!!

NM - are ya'll gonna be there for the Thursday show and the Saturday show??? Gumby's fetching me at the airport at noon. His phone # is probably the one you need. I don't think I'll have a cell phone with me, as I expect to be around ice chests....

And I WILL have Texas flags and bandanas again!

And some other flags if we can find a way to fly them - Michigan included!
I can't wait!!!! (I have an extra Thursday tic and need a Saturday)

Though even though you will be riding in a Pickem up Truck---No texas flags will be flyin from my truck though.....
