Yes, off and on all day, but we live quite a few miles inland from the coast, so all we got was rain and very little wind--thank goodness.

Galveston, Kemah, Palacios, etc have really been pounded and it still continues--even with the backside

Just got the power back on, and what did I do, get on the Internet. Lots of wind, one gust recorded at my house was 76 mph, but for most of the day the winds were steady at 30-35 mph. My trees were bending but none broke. The feeder bands are still affecting us today.

Hope to dry out soon, as I am doing the pilgrimage to Key West this weekend.
It's a jungle out there kiddies; Have a very fruitful day.

Pretty disappointing here. I live just up the coast (about 40 miles inland) of where it hit and all we got was light wind (20 mph gusts) and a lot of rain. No flooding though. The season is early though.

Haven't had any hurricanes here yet, but knowing that the Carolinas is in the prime spot of HURRICANE ALLY.....I don't doubt that we will probably have a major one soon. Pretty cool ain't it??
Sunset Beach is my Margaritaville. Where there is endless beach, no time, and sunshine that seems to last forever. I know that Someday I Will.....Someday.
