I received an email recently from something called Topica, about the BuffettNews.com newsletter. Is this something that everyone got ? And if you signed up for it, has your "junk" mail increased greatly ?

I've never seen that one, Lola..

Thank you, I hadn't seen that - I haven't been to the News forum in months.

I signed up for it, being from BN, but now I've been getting quite a bit of junk mail, from TopOffers@Topica.com, plus some other places I hadn't before. Is there any way to be on the BN newsletter list without the junk ?

No problemo...I didn't even know there was a BN newsletter, but I remembered seeing that on the News section.

It may be a matter of which version PHJim is using...

We use Topica for the KLC newsletter, but we pay $$ for it, so I don't think it sends the other stuff.

Topica is actually really good - if you send an email out to more than 1000 people these days you almost HAVE to use someone - sending it on your own usually results in it getting classified as SPAM. Topica has agreements with many ISPs so that it's recognized as legit email.

But still - if you're getting ad emails, that's no good.
