Alpine and All For The Sea photos

At Alpine, I ran into a guy named Bahama Bob, who told me to make sure I check out
www.bahamabob.com to see the pictures. The site now has pix up from Alpine and South Hampton amongst other things, if you care to check them out.
I don't know him or anything about him, but he seemed like a pretty cool guy, and by other pix he has posted he seems to be enjoying life!

"All For The Sea" photos. Maybe the shot of Don Julio silver I
also imbibed, has fogged my vision, but is Mac among the missing?

Did he really use yours and Karin's pics?
If so, just contact his provider and tell them he's using copyrighted pics and they'll rip his site down quick.

I was going to say - His Alpine shots were close! But I guess they weren't his!

I dunno - I still think it's pretty UNCOOL to steal pics from fellow Parrotheads... if he wanted them, why didn't he just ASK?

If he did use the pictures, take it as a complement. As long as he is not using them in a bad way, or making money off them somehow.
Imitation is the greatest complement.

Too bad Winona's legal team didn't use that when she "imitated" a few things from Macys.

Well I sure didn't expect that! I know they took the picture of me, so I fugured they took all of them.
I knew some of his pix resembled the southhampton pix Karin posted, and just figured they sat nearby. That's why I posted, thought some of you may have been in them. Were yours from SH too, pirateat30?
Anyway, I imagine if you contact them they will take them off the site. The home page has the following: "To have your party pictures added to the site, please e-mail
chris@bahamabob.com".
It IS possible that someone else emailed them. Not likely, but possible.

I guess I would call it stealing if he using the pictures for a gain or trying to make someone look bad. Just looked like a PH having a good time and showing other PHs doing the same.
Simmer down and take it as a complement. Either that or email him and have him take them down because he posted pictures of some very nice looking lady PHs.
Women...........spend 2 hours getting ready so they can get bent out of shape when somebody notices them.

It's stealing if he uses the pictures without permission, whether he gains or not. Perhaps you've heard of copyright infringement? The law is pretty clear.
It's just plain obnoxious that he claims to be a parrothead and steals the photos from others. The burden of responsibility is on HIM to ask, not on others to ask their pictures NOT be posted. Would it really have been so hard for him to PM or email Karin and just ask?

That was actually my whole point. I don't have much problem with my pics on his site....I did have my name (well, pirateat30) on the caption to show I added to the concert photo's. Just to take them and paste to a website other than where it was intended is not right. Bahamabob must have been to buffettnews (Hi Bob
) since he took the photo's from here and all he had to do was send a short message asking.......
I'm not looking to make a big deal out of it for this instance. I did however save a few photo's which were not posted for this same reason
