Get ready to have a blast! I think you will really like the Casa Marina due to the convenience. I tried a B&B couple of years ago and was not happy. The Casa has it's own private beach, music at the cabana bar & other locations just about 24/7, gorgeous pool, hot tubs, The Balcony Contest, The All Day Beach Party on Saturday, and this year there will be a Thursday night music party. Oh, and they have the BEST frozen rum runners in the world! Also Casa is where the Mini-Mart is located & where you pick up your "goody bag". We will have to arrange to meet at the Casa during the stay.

We're staying at the Blue Marlin, 1 block off Duval @ the south end. We stayed there in 2000. I am not a member of a Parrothead club , so I will miss out on a lot of activites.
By the way, I like to rent the bicycles. We will arrive on Wed., after spending 2 days in Key largo, and leaving Mon. morning, for 5 more days in Orlando.

I see my big brother beat me to the pimping punch But he's right Side......VPHC is going through a revamping at the moment, Sharkfyn is one of the new committe chairs. You will miss quite a bit of the entertainment at the Casa if you're not registered for MOTM.

Side VPHC is only $16 for the year......no way to skimp on something for a couple of weeks to pay for it???

well I'm gonna have phun no matter what. I planned this trip in Jan., and found out about it MOTM's months later. So all the better

Has anyone stayed at Pier House for MOTM or is planning on staying there this year? We stayed there last year and loved it. I think its in a much better location than Casa Marina, just due to the fact that its right on Duval and within easy walking distance of all the bars. Most of the time we would take a $5 cab ride to Casa during the day and then hang out on Duval at night. Last year, Pier House gave Parrotheads a great discount, but apparently, they are not doing any discounted rates for this years MOTM. I guess b/c they dont think that many Parrotheads want to stay there. But if more people are thinking of staying there, maybe we can try to get a discounted rate. I'd definitely recommend it over Casa.

If ma petite is going it has to be a hoot hoot!!!
