Like most everyone probably I was a long time reader before I finally registered this summer...I was lucky enough to meet a bunch of BN people at shows this summer and look forward to doin it again soon

I did a Google search on Jimmy Buffett....I am so glad that I did.

Some guy that posted something about Buffett on a Yahoo board told me about this place when I asked him about the Alpine and Chicago venue 2 years ago... I came over... and couldn't believe how much I had to learn from all these parrotheads!!! Then I found the MSC... it's been all over since then for me too...

Can't recall how I stumbled upon this site (I think it was from CoB,o). It was during the spring of 2002 and I wanted to find out about pre-concert parties in Las Vegas. Bookmarked this site and would occasionally visit, though I didn't register until this March (again, trying to find the pre-concert parties for this year's Vegas show!!)

Was able to meet a great bunch of BN faithful at the San Remo for Nikki and Corey's Bachelor/Bachelorette Party!!! The rest is history (and the addiction is real)!!

I discovered BuffettNews while working at Ft Detrick back in late '98 early '99. I did a search on Jimmy Buffett and just stumbled on in ..... I would pop in several times a week to catch up on the latest news, and poke thru all the posts.

I was a long time lurker at the MSC, I just liked to watch and I thought it was very cool that they all had formed this phriendship and it just seemed like they were having fun.

After my daughter, Savannah, came home from the hospital I had to spend a lot of time at home and we really coudn't have a lot of guests in the house. I was bored and lonely, so I took the plunge in May of 2000. I've been here almost everyday since ..... The people I've meet here are some of the greatest people in the world!

I found all you wonderful Parrot People when I was getting drunk at the Key Largo Hotel in Las Vegas this April. I booked rooms on the recommendation of a friend, but never knew about BN before.

Jim and the Twins from Idaho kept talking about it and looking for people. I knew I had to be a part of this maddness!

I don't reply often, but it is part of my morning ritual to have my coffee and breeze through a few posts. (I am sure my boss would love to hear that!!) I can't make Vegas this Fall, but I will be in Shoreline! Which reminds me... I haven't seen a Ophicial Shoreline Thread...

They were so damn funny and we were all having such a great time. That pool atmosphere was great. I had more fun by noon the Friday before the show... Then the "tequilla shot" belt came out about the same time as the Cruzan Rum beach balls... So sadly, I don't remember many people's names....

Great group and I'm so glad to have found other who share my passion for Jimmy and his music.

I really can't remember how I first came here either, I think it was during the time that Chris at CoBo was so busy with med school and stuff that he didn't really have time to update the site a lot and I needed to know NOW what was going on. So here I am. I joined awhile ago and just kind of lurked. Then I met this great group at Nissan and have been a posting maniac ever since! I love it here!!

I was looking for set lists and found this place. I also found out about RM from this site and i then listened to first concert while watching the people here, so i decided to join after that.

Found BN on Yahoo search while browsing for Jimmy Buffett sites last year. Lurked around awhile, then finally signed up in June. Its a great place to meet new phriends and keep up on the latest news! But it can be addicting!!!! I do a lot more lurking than posting at the moment. Im basically a shy person!

I bought some Buffett related stuff from PHJIm on E-Bay (Big surprise there) And when he sent me the confirming email he also sent a link to this site. Came in and never left!

Spent some nights lurking in COBO chat and meant my first 3 Buffett friends......Lisa (PG) ..Kat (Kat)...John(PH911). Kind of annointed ourselves the 4 amigos and they directed me here and that is where the insanity took over. It has been interesting to say the least and with a few exceptions it has been a great trip.......I have found some of the best friends in the world here. Thank you PHJIM for keeping us together and thank you Lisa, Kat and John because without you three I would have never been here.
