Under Massachusetts law, only licensed ticket brokers can resell tickets, and they are prohibited from selling them for more than $2 above face value, plus a "reasonable'' service charge. Individuals cannot resell tickets -- even for less than face value.

at least noone has bid on them I have a theory that these bokers don't have the tix on hand if someoem is foolish enough to say they will buy it then they go out and get the tix from their tix broker buddies and split it

just wait everyone the tix will free up in the middle of august

It's a stoooopid rule, IMHO.... You ought to be able to resell tickts at face without risking arrest....

Ebay doesn't care. They have a disclaimer that says they do but they don't.

Even if it isn't illegal it is a crime against Parrotheads. :pirate:

I just had an EVIL thought. If it is illegal for him to sell them. Bid on the tickets make sure you win them. Then tell him you found out it is illegal and do not want to be part of the transaction. Include Ebay on it and at that point they should back you up. He is stuck with the tickets.
When they run you out of town make it look like you are leading the parade.

I wish that the ticket brokers would all go bankrupt so the common folk can get tickets with out paying their prices or having nightmares of dealing with scalpers

This is why Jimmy needs to put a stop to this crap. Springsteen is playing so many nights that scalpers are selling tics below face value. There is a god. TM is in this with the scalpers it is all a big fix... The real fans lose out.
