Buffettnews.com Nametags

Post by Tiki Bar »

Many BNers have had the pleasure of meeting other BNers, sometimes time and time again, and easily find eachother at the shows. But many others still haven't, yet...

The idea of BN nametags came up in the Chicago thread, and they have been done in the past. Seems like something that would be good and easy to add to our outfits for all Buffett concerts, so we can identify eachother.

IUP suggested including Buffettnews.com, your screen name, and your real name if so desired.

Is there a template out there for them? Does someone have the ability to create them? Could it be something done online or via email, and we all just print our own?

What do ya'll think? After missing everyone at Alpine, I like the idea.

Better just a BN logo??
When you see one, you can go up and introduce yourself.

Very cool idea.

I would purchase one!!!!

Great Woods will be Very easy to find us. Just walk around the RV section and look up at the flags, the BN flag has the bright BN logo (see below) last year it was windy so the flag was flopping around allot but it was there. Allot of the RV's will have flags but only one will have the BN flag.
When in doubt, just look for a large amount of security, that would indicate NYCPort is in the area, he doesn't usually mingle with the common people and when he does he is surounded by a large security detail, for his protection of course.

Pholks must have a button of some type around the house.
Just give us a sheet of logos in various sizes and we can attach it to whatever works.
Blow it up and stick it in your car window. Put one on your Tiki bar. Paste it on your left coconut shell!!
I'm sure lots of people reading this would be GLAD to tell you where to put it!!! :o  :pirate:

Good idea on posting this Tiki Bar......I am going to see if I can find actual pins when I go into town tonight....If we can just print off stickers and attach them to the pins, that would be slick!!!!! I would have no problem helping design this.....let me know what is up! :D

That's what I was thinking, Des.
I was gonna run it by Glenn since he designed the logo. I have some lanyards I could hand out in CHI til I run out. And I gotta get some printer ink if I'm gonna print some, but I think I have plastic laminate.

In case some people don't recognize the logo, I would suggest including the text Buffettnews.com
^^^ just my .02 :D

This is an awesome idea! I'll be at Great Woods on the 30th and would love to have a BN identifier of some sort. I'd certainly be willing to pay for one, if we can come up with something.
Today is the tomorrow you spent yesterday worrying about. Was it worth it?

Just look for the Buffettnews Flag flying over the RV in the RV section, it really isn't that hard to find. Many BNers found us last year because of the flag including PHJim!!!!!

I love the pin idea! I'd be willing to pay for one or help offset the expense somehow, I just want to be able to finally get to meet and have a drink with all you great folks in person that love Jimmy as much as I do.

It's a shame the CafePress shops don't offer buttons too. :(
AB,how about squeezing in the "I got my PhD @ www.BuffettNews.com"?
Maybe underneath? Small logo and then the "I got my..."?

However it works out, I do want one!!! Please???
(Don't make me fabricate my own now!!! )
