This may be a longshot, but I am looking for a video of Jimmy's appearance as musical guest on the episode of ABC's Fridays which originally aired 18/05/81 (for those of you too young to remember, Fridays was a knock-off of SNL which ran for three or four seasons in the early 80's, and is best known for launcing the career of Michael (Kramer) Richards).
Jimmy sang CILCIA and Volcano, if my memory serves me correctly - anybody else recall seeing this show?

Sorry.... I was 7 years old in 1981. Unless he was on Scooby Doo, I wouldn't remember...

Well I'm old enough to remember that VCR's were not prevalent in 1981.
They weren't cheap, and a lot of people didn't have them. This might reduce the chance of you finding a recording of the show.

And it IS Cuervo's fault!

I was 10 and loved that show - we had a VCR (still have the same one on my basement TV now) and I did tape the show (11pm is a little late for a 10 year old) but I know that none of those tapes are still around. Who can forget Richards as "Battle Boy" in his backyard playing army and torturing his sisters Barbie dolls? Larry David - co-creator of Seinfeld and current star of Curb Your Enthusiasm was also on the show.

I remember the show and I wish I had a copy of it. If you manage to find one please let me know.

I was 2 years out of the Navy, had a VCR and was a Buffett fan however I never heard of that show. Dang Dang Dang. Good hunting.
