Stupid Scalpers!
The Baltimore Orioles had a beach night at Camden Yards a few years ago where there was a lot of Buffett music but not really a parrothead outing.
I think it is a great idea and hope it will catch on with one of the clubs here: Delmarva Shorebirds, Bowie Baysox, Aberdeen Ironbirds, Frederick Keys, or the Hagerstown Suns.

Pair8head,
Do you know how I could get in touch with a local fan club. We had thought about finding a club like that, but have no idea where to begin looking for the Bangor Parrothead Club. If you could give me some ideas on that, it would be great. Thanks!

Thanks for all your help! I have contacted the Parrot Head Club of Maine, so we'll see how that goes.

That all sounds like a ton of fun and I wanna go!!! For once I wish I lived in the frozen north instead of at the sizzling shore.
I have to pass this idea on to our local team, the Lakewood BlueClaws (minor league Phillies).
This would be HUGE 'round here!

We went to an Orlando Rays game this summer and they were having a PH night. They had Jim Morris and James White do a concert after the game was over. They played on top of the dugout.
And they have girls---I guess they are 'ball' girls and they were dressed in short tops and sarongs. Between the innings they rode a golf cart around and squirted the fans with big water guns---it was hot
They also would pull fans out of the seats between innings and have them do silly things like sing their favorite Buffett song, etc. It was alot of fun!

Oh, and giving away beads to the fans is fun and the beads are really cheap!!!
