I am determined to run into Buffett next weekend...

After the Thursday show at Tinley, I will be headin' back downtown Chicago to stay with a friend who lives near Fullerton for the weekend. I am bound and determined to check out all the spots where Buffett might be lerking. I gurantee you he will be downtown Chicago Friday because of his Saturday show back at Tinley. Here are my spots I am going to check:

1. Navy Pier
2. Demon Dogs (Under the EL, Buffett's favorite hot dog place)
3. Marinas near Lakeshore Dr.
4. Anywhere around Wrigley. (NO Cubs game though that weekend)
5. Maybe around a few bars near Fullerton.
6. He will probably be staying at a hotel. Probably the Ritz?

Any thoughts about this? Any other spots I should check out?

you need the ph4 and AB stalking lessons. We are very good at stalking and meeting people. Try the sound check backstage door. Hang around like you sorta know what you're doing. Take an inflatable palm tree and be very nice.

Honestly a VERY good way is find the tour bus and ask the bus driver when the band is arriving for soundcheck. Also, if you can find the bus at a hotel you are pretty guaranteed the bus will leave around 3 - 4pm for the soundcheck. Then there is always just walking through the gate like you know what you are doing and risking it. The worst that can happen is you get thrown out the back gate. Meeting him by chance somewhere in town is hard. However, if you know he has gone somewhere in the past you might find him. I know in Atlanta he goes to the same basic places everytime.

Or the Tom Carey Band in Tinley Park on Friday night?
