Everybody going to the concert please be sure to wear battery operated lights. NO LASERS.
Jimmy is aware that we are trying to encourage him to either play two nights at Riverbend or one night at the Great American Ball Park by wearing Christmas tree type lights.
He will be looking for these lights, so let's make sure there are plenty to see!
Thanks.

Why do you want him at Great American?....I would imagine the tail-gating would be awful there.

Only 9 days now!!!! This will be my fifth concert at Riverbend........what areas usually have the best tailgate parties? We usually hit AJ's for the afternoon before the concert.

We have 4 of us coming in from Rochester NY on Monday for the show. Can anyone offer some direction as to where we hook up with pre-concert tailgaiting on Tuesday? We've never seen JB in Cincy - only Boston. Any direction would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hey bboru! Just go over to the venue and the parking lots are usually going pretty good, its been a couple years since I have been there, but tailgating is right there at the venue, its great!!!

I will be there as well....can't wait!

park in the racetrack lot. they don't care about tailagting there. The Riverbend lot is pretty strict but anywhere else is open game...esp. the grass lots!

I don't much like the Great American Ballpark idea either, although I would really love 2 nights at Riverbend. Especially a Saturday night! :D

Party before the concert....

Post by phphlyer »

I have seen Jimmy several times at Riverbend, not to mention other places. We ALWAYS start the party at AJ's, a restraurant/bar next to Riverbend. They always have cheesburgers cooking and way too many jello shots!!! Let me know where the best parties will be taking place. Myself and three of my firefighter buddies will be making the trek.....looking forward to another GREAT time!!!

The Great American Ball Park was selected because they would treat Jimmy like a King! They are very eager to attract Jimmy. They will do everything it takes to make sure things go well.

It has already been checked out that the tailgating will be allowed right next to the stadium.

Riverbend is too small for everybody to get tickets. Unless Jimmy does two shows.

Phinmobile and crew are loaded and ready to leave the Motor City at 4am. We'll be without the motorhome, but the big white car trailer will be there. Thanks to the Cincy PHC we're having 2000lbs of sand delivered to the field along with 2 porta-potties in the morning. You veterans know us and where to find us. Just look in the field for the HUGE Corona banner atop the trailer. We hope to see you all there!!!

I've hardly slept a wink! Anyone else feel like a little kid at Christmas as far as anticipation level??? I usually only get to go once a year, and I'd have to say that the day Bubba comes to Riverbend is generally THE day of the year I look forward to more than any other! Now, if only I could find a reason to get up BEFORE my alarm clock goes off all the other days of the week!!

3 hours, 42 minutes until departure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fins up! See ya in the lot!
