he had just finished up "natives are restless" went on to intro next song - "grapefruit/juicyfruit" then realized that wasn't the next song! it wasn't even on the set list! he was laughing and carrying on saying he just had a senior moment. but was like "what the heck" we'll play it anyway.

And once he decided to go ahead and play it he said "now I just have to remember the words!" Actually I think he said f-in words, Jimmy swore!! :o

The one and the same!

Drama professor and co-director of the ETC. Also a big Pittsburgh Pirates fan from what I read.

Actually had never heard of him till I saw this pic in the CM News. I just liked the pic! :-P :pirate:

Then go join the Gutter Chat at the Virtual Tailgate in the Social Area! Wait, just make sure you're not there at the same time as me! It's not as much fun to talk dirty when your little brother is around!!

I was 99.9% sure that was Don. I met him a year or so ago when I gave a talk to the students in the ETC. He's a really nice guy. I bet he would absolutely LOVE the scene at Buffett shows. He's got a great, kooky sense of humor, and he'd fit right in!

Hey all,
Had a blast at the show, this was my second Buffett experience (Merriweather earlier this year being the first). Great to meet many of you (Liz, Talon, Cousin, Vince, and a few that memory is a bit foggy). Such a sense of community and togetherness makes the experience so special. Already kicking around ideas for next year, when we will have to do it again!

-darren

p.s. Liz - I'll back Frank on whatever he says, don't hide from the truth!

3) Did anyone get the name of the folks who had the giant multi-person ice sculpture/shot luge that was parked behind us near the edge of the lot? I believe they were some kind of commercial ice business, but I didn't manage to get any contact info. The beer mug made entirely of ice was also one of the coolest things I'd ever seen.

That guys name is Rich (he's actually my ex-GF's neighbor) if you need contact info i can probably get it for you

I am afraid that it might be it for the year. Now I will have to wait a long 8 months before I get a chance to do it all over agian.

There is somthing to be said about hibernation.

Well it was a great start to my end of the summer party.
