First off 95% of the brokers use the same database. They all feed off of each other. It's most likely a typo. I hope it isn't, but that's most likely the explanation. :-?

In the past around October Buffett has been in Boston helping Livingston Taylor (James's brother) at the Berkley College of Music as a guest lecturer, maybe he is doing some sort of private benefit show for him. One of the biggest brokers in Boston aceticket.com does not have it listed so the more likely scenario is it is a typo. But it would be nice if it was true. :D

I know James Taylor will be at Berkley on 9/13 (with Paul Simon) for the Drummer Achievement Awards. May be an interesting show

I emailed the Fleet Boston Pavilion asking about this, here is teh reply they sent me back:

"The information that is on our website is the most up to date information we have, therefore, please do not email us regarding shows that are not list"

I should have asked, is the Fleet Boston Pavilion available for rental on October 8th!

I just called tickets.com and the woman I spoke with checked with her listing office... she came back and told me it was a mistake :(
