ok, i don't remember the hi way numbers, but one of them runs right by the amphitheater. there is an outdoor mall that is between the 2 hi ways. i can't remember that name either.
there is or was pretty good sized bar that catered to the parrothead masses the friday nite before the saturday show, and probably welcomes all with open arms after the show. i am sure veteran orange county types must know what i am talking about.

:D :) :o :-? 8) :P   :pirate:

You may also be refering to Sloppy Joe's (same as Key West) at the Irvine Sprectrum Mall, off Irvine Center Drive between the 405 and 5, right before "the merge".

Alas, Sloppy Joe's went out of biz. However a GREAT new sports bar, with a good looking crowd is the new FOX News sports bar, at the same center.

Not sure where parrotheads will be congregating though since Sloppy Joe's is gone....this is where the Friday before was always hopping for us Parrotheads...

I loved Sloppy Joe's!!!!! One of the bars at the Spectrum needs to get smart and cater to the Buffett concert crowd.....they'd make a ton of money!!!!

Just reminding you all that Jimmy Buffett is playing in Irvine on Sept. 27th. I'm glad TM sent me a reminder email, or else I would've forgot!

Twntybucks has got a single Right Orc. ticket for Coors he's selling at face. If you ask him nicely, he might even throw in a burger with Original Tommy's chili on it! Check out the BN tix x-change.

Isn't there an official Coors thread yet?

Yes, you can add Twnty and me to the list for Irvine.

Cmon phreinds, Irvine isnt that far away, we shouldnt be hiding back on page 2. Again, I am coming from Michigan and need tickets, so if anyone has any extras, let me know. I dont wanna have to pay the scalpers prices!
