Don't know what time the lot opens, but we'll be there bright and early! We may meet up at the Irvine Spectrum lot again if it's too early.

Can't wait!

Glenn, if you're still looking for San Diego, I may have some extra seats. I'll know within the next few days if they're available (just waiting on the brother to confirm whether or not he's going!)

Have we started trying to figure out how we're all going to meet (not meat) in the lot??? This is not my coast so I'm laying low, but I am willing to help if needed. We've got over 100 people going to the show and if most of us meet up it should be a great time!

Where is a good hotel around Irvine? Or maybe I should ask where everyone is staying?

How far is Newport Beach from the venue? Too far to drive after a day of partying? :wench:

Good idea!!! Bumper and his crew are coming with an RV and have graciously accepted my idea of being the "Official BN Meeting Place." Port - if you bring your flag maybe we can fly it from atop their RV... and everybody has their nametags courtesy of 7Lords Wade, right??? If not, order yours now!! They are great! Furthermore, I have already exchanged cell phone numbers with several of you so, if you want my cell number PM me. This is usually the easiest way to meet up in the lot's and maybe we can get some sort of caravan going into the lot like the folks did in Camden this year? If anybody has any ideas for a good meeting place outside the venue, post away!!! 8)

Newport! Thats where I live. It's about a 20 minute drive at the most. Great party scene. If you go after the show hit Sharkeez, very Buffett and order a Shark Bite.

As far as hotels. The Hyatt's nice, great bar. The Doubletree is right next to the Spectrum which is very close to the show.

Every year it seems they're opening the lot later and later. I think they said they were going to open the lot at 3 or 4 last year and they opened it about 2:30 if I remember right. For a good meeting spot there is a Jack In the Box I believe or some fast food joint directly across the street from the entrance. You can also meet up in the line up. Once you pull into the entrance of Irvine Meadows (Verizon) they'll turn you away and you'll end up parking across the street and park at the end of a very long line of cars who have been since the a.m. You can start your pre-festivities there but just keep an eye out for the MANY Irvine police patorling. They're cool once you get inside.

We will probably post up in the business park across the street, from Irvine Meadows, like we did last year. I went to the venue web page and there is no specific time for the gates to open. Anyone make the called yet?

I was in the business park last year before they opened the gates and it was a nightmare trying to get out!!! It took over an hour to get out of the lot and drive across the street to get into the parking lot.

I'm thinking of hanging at the Spectrum and then heading over from there.

I am not sure how we are gonna workout the escape from the parking lot madness into Verizon..but I am sure something imaginative will come to us.

CRC has my cell phone and will be in contact as to location once settled in place in motorhome alley.

So I'll try for the hyatt or doubletree. How much of a drive from the venue are those places?
