I would try for the Doubletree it's closer to the Spectrum. The Spectrum is full of places to party, eat or shop at. The Doubletree is about a mile and half from the show. The Hyatt about 6. CRC, Look forward to seeing you as well. I should be a little less sauced than the last Vegas show. The pre-party at the pool tore me up!

As far as the Marriott it's about 7 miles away from the show and about 8 miles from the Spectrum.

Every year it seems they're opening the lot later and later. I think they said they were going to open the lot at 3 or 4 last year and they opened it about 2:30 if I remember right. For a good meeting spot there is a Jack In the Box I believe or some fast food joint directly across the street from the entrance. You can also meet up in the line up. Once you pull into the entrance of Irvine Meadows (Verizon) they'll turn you away and you'll end up parking across the street and park at the end of a very long line of cars who have been since the a.m. You can start your pre-festivities there but just keep an eye out for the MANY Irvine police patorling. They're cool once you get inside.[/quote]

Is there more than one parking lot for the concert? Which one should I go to so I can tailgate without police problems?

I love the Mainsail on the Jeep! Cool!

Phellow BNer's....please look for my lil ol group at the Irvine show in a "new ride" Instead of the white convertible two seater with PIRET40, I will have also bought a slightly bigger rig.... a 40" bus motorhome You will find it in "motorhome alley" It is painted brown and will have my PIRET40 plates strategically placed.

Stop by for a cocktail!
