The word on the street is that much like his flag...Matt's pole is rather small... So, smuggling it through security shouldn't really be an issue for him. :P
Hey Bob...Why don't you come on out to CA and help hold my pole???
that's a good idea, this way I don't have to do it. Being Italian I have a hard enough time holding my own pole.

it appears this thread has gone horribly off track

Let's bring it back out of the gutter a little then :D For anyone who is still interested in the BN nametags:

Get your requests in soon. Many of you have already made requests and probably already have your tags in hand but for those who haven't yet - why not? :-?

Question......
I have been looking to hire someone to drive the RV this year. Thought about cab drivers. Does anyone have any ideas or channels to go through regarding "drivers for hire" in OC.

On the RV, call a local limo company, they alwats have guys on call wanting to make some bucks, you would think an off duty guy would pay you to drive and be a sober part of the day...or at least do it for 10 bucks or so an hour....

Tag...back at ya see you at the show!

Hi gang,

I am wondering if Irvine is sold out, out there? Since my trip to Bermuda just got washed out to sea I would like to meet my in-laws in Santa Barbara and then go to the 9/27 show. In all of our trips west we havn't seen many P.H. people out there (we are Great Woods people here) and would like a quick concert trip out.
Please fill me in if possible.

Thanks, Johnny's Lounge

well the tour dates page sez irvine is sold out. but go anyway. there are always people with extra tix for one reason or another, and you can always find some one eager to sell at face value. good luck

Johnny,

Totally agree with Mason.

While I was just at both Great Woods shows, which people seemed to have a tough time getting tix, Irvine is a tad better. Plus, check out Ebay, where I bought my GW tix 3 weeks before the show, they should have something. The lawn at Irvine is actually a lawn as opposed to GW, and believe it or not, the parking lot does rival GW in most ways.

Hell, Irvine ain't Bermuda...but real phun.

This will be the first show for my wife and I, and we can't wait.

Don't know if anyone is interrested, but the Doubletree Hotel has a shuttle that will take you to the show. If you stay there you have to be nice to Peggy the Bartender, she is a Parrothead in Training.

Add BBQMONSTER + 1 to your list.

IRVINE!!!

Been out of loop for a bit now but had to return for the big day in O.C.! This has to be one of the wildest shows around. I got about 25 people in my crew that will be setting sail that day. Pre-pre party activities at my friends house who 's house we can walk from to the concert for those who are interested. I know I'm late coming to the board but are there any Friday night plans. Some GREAT local bars for those coming in from afar that should be checked out. Let's hope for an earlier entry this year into the lot. Any word on that?
