Ticket Drops

Post by waboritas »

I know it is extremely rare for Buffett, but does anyone know of any ticket drops before his shows on this tour?

It's when ticketmaster releases tickets for a show that has been sold out.

So far, the Great Woods shows haven't even been available to look for tickets, I thought they would change the screens back to the regular page, but not yet.

Oh, okay, I've never heard it called that. I was about to say, "I wouldn't try to drop the tickets. I'd be sure and hold on to them tight!"

It does happen sometimes and has on this tour. Just keep checking Ticketmaster.com regularly.

I've gotten tickets that way for the Atlanta shows for the last three or four years. We always have a few last minute additions to the group and without fail we've gotten tickets through TM the day before or the day of the show. The price is usually higher than you originally wanted to pay but, hey, you're in the show! 8)

On either last Wednesday or on Thursday, there were some tickets that opened up for the Thursday show. I wasnt going but I checked to see if I could get some anyway and sure enough, the day before (or day of, can't remember), I couldve got some tickets to the Chicago show.

Wed 5 pm I got 2 10th row 102 and 2 16th row 103 for Chicago Thursday... for the heck of it I checked on Saturday and could have gotten 102 10th row. :x  Why didn't I? It's a question that bothers me so!

Yes - there have been "ticket drops" this tour.

For the last two years, I was one of the first 3 people in line at the Window for the Great Woods show on Thursday. For both years, I ended up getting the 1st row in Section 3 (side section). Believe or not, I sat in the same seat
****** Just going to the ONE Comcast Center show (Formely Tweeter/Great Woods) in June 2011 this year********
