RM times if Buffett tours Australia

Ok, to answer a few questions I have seen floating around on here...

I have some idea on this time difference thing out here, and I can say that if a concert started at 8.00pm ADST in Sydney, that would be 4.00am in NY :o

And I have checked the bookings for the Sydney Entertainment Centre and the only booking for January is Metallica .... Might give that one a miss!

To be honest, once the number crunching starts and they realise they can only do shows in a maximum of 4 cities here and maybe 2 in New Zealand and our dollar fetching 64c to the US dollar - well ... I am not too optimistic!

But, I guess there is hope!

**Sigh** Australia has been my life-long dream since I was 8 years old! I would LOVE to do this, but funds are not available now with a new house and all......

If this actually happens, it would be a wonderful show! I might have to find a way to make it! Maybe we could all get together and book an entire airplane and get a discount? :-? boy, that would be an awesome flight!

He was coming to the Gold Coast a few years back ... I had my flight booked - money sent for tickets - then it got cancelled ....

He last came out here in 1988 - that was a fully sponsored tour by Corona apparently for the America's Cup, from what we have found out.

So, unless someone is sponsoring it ... well...

I do hope - but as I said - it is more about my friends now for me - and me going over to USA to see my friends is more important to me. Of course - if any of them come over here it would be EXCITING!!!
