Buffett wants to Play at Fenway

An article in the Boston Globe "Menino eyes more Fenway concerts" mentions Jimmy Buffett is interested in playing at Fenway Park in Boston.

Also there's an uncomfirmed report that mentioned Jimmy's people were at Fenway over the weekend "checking things out".

I sure hope it's not Fenway instead of Great Woods.... that would truly s*ck.....

if Jimmy does decide to go ahead with Fenway and do away with Great Woods all together, after all these years, then this is trully is disappointing to say the least.I don't want to believe that he would say no to Great Woods after all the years of loyal support from the fans and Jimmy's apparent personal liking for the venue. I know he doesn't play all the places he used to but there is something special at G.W. And if Fenway is a go, does this mean that there will only be 1 show??? And something elese to ponder, wouldn't going to stadiums signigificantly reduce his already short touring schedule to nearly 12 shows a year????? I am totally against this!!!

I doubt it!

Yawkey Way would be a lot closer!

But I highly doubt the Boston PD would be nearly as accommodating as their Mansfield brethren ...
