Alan Jackson on Today Show Friday 9/19/03 7 AM

Just received this in my Metro PH Club e-newsletter (and checked it out on the Today Show webpage):
"Alan Jackson will appear at the Today Show Concert Series on Friday,
September 19th. He's sure to play his #1 hit "It's Five O'clock Somewhere". Think that there's a chance that Jimmy Buffett will show up to help with the duet?"
I don't know - Jimmy's touring on the west coast, Thursday in Vancouver, Saturday in Las Vegas. He'd have to leave almost directly from the Vancouver concert, which would be around 2 AM New York time, to get to NYC around 4 AM. I don't think it's possible.

I'll be at class
. But even if I wasnt at class I wouldnt get up, unless Jimmy was gonna be there, which I'm sure he won't be

I think there's a "dude"/"dudette" phactor involved here.

Yea but Alan on the Today's Show isn't a reason for me to use my VCR

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but just received word from one of our radio news sheets that Alan Jackson has cancelled the Today Show due to the Hurricane. Might want to double check if you were planning on going.
